Vote to amend and pass a bill that authorizes law enforcement to regulate unauthorized or undocumented immigrants if they are involved in crimes in Idaho.
Authorizes law enforcement to regulate unauthorized or undocumented immigrants if they are involved in crimes in Idaho (Sec. 1-2).
Specifies that an individual involved in a crime and is found to be living in Idaho without legal authorization or documentation would face the following charges, and upon conviction be subject to deportation (Sec. 1-2):
For the first violation a misdemeanor charge for ‘illegal entry”;
For the second violation a felony charge for “illegal entry”; and
Specifies that the provisions of this bill declare an emergency and shall be in effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 4).
