Vote to pass a bill that prohibits state employees from receiving gender-affirming health care services in Georgia.

Highlights:

• Prohibits “taxpayer dollars” from being used for hormone therapy, surgery, and other gender-affirming medical services for the following individuals, including (Sec. 1-4):

• State employees;

• Retirees;

• University system employees;

• Prisoners;

• Medicaid recipients; or

• Any individual who uses state funding or has a state healthcare plan.

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect January 1, 2026, and apply to all state health benefit plans issued, delivered, or renewed (Sec. 5).

• Specifies that any previous laws found in conflict with this bill are repealed (Sec. 6).
