Title: Defines Sex and Gender Terms for Any State Laws, Policies, or Institutions
Vote to pass a bill that defines any sex or gender terms based on biological features that are used in Arizona state laws, policies, or institutions.
Defines “Male” to mean an individual who has, naturally had, will have, or would have, but for a developmental anomaly or accident the reproductive system that at some point produces sperm for fertilization of female ova (Sec. 1).
Defines “Female” as an individual who has, naturally had, will have, or would have, but for a developmental anomaly or accident, the reproductive system that at some point produces ova. (Sec. 1).
Specifies that there are 2 sexes and defines sex as an individual's biological sex, which is either male or female (Sec. 1)
Specifies an individual with a difference in sex development does not establish a third sex (Sec. 1).
Establishes that individuals with a congenital and medically verifiable disorder or difference in sex development must be accommodated. (Sec. 1).
Establishes that all collected data regarding sex should only use male or female when describing “Sex” (Sec. 1).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 4).
