Highlights:

• Prohibits candidates or political committees from accepting a loan from any individual or entity, if the loan principal and any other contributions from the person exceed the limited amount of money a candidate or political committee may receive (Sec. 1).

• Requires the total amount an individual or entity is allowed to contribute to a candidate or political committee to include any loans given (Sec. 1).

• Specifies the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 2).
