  • Establishes a Class 1 misdemeanor for any violation of this provision (Sec. 1). 

  • Specifies that the portions of this bill prohibiting the purchase or possession of plastic or undetectable firearms shall take effect on January 1, 2026, while the portions of this bill prohibiting the purchase or possession of a firearm, frame, or receiver without a valid serial number shall take effect on July 1, 2026 (Sec. 1).
