Vote to pass a bill that appropriates $2.5 billion for state wildfire relief and prevention programs in California.
Appropriates $2.5 billion from the state general budget for state wildfire relief funding in California (Sec. 1-5).
Specifies that the funding above shall be appropriated to Los Angeles local governments for the following, including, but not limited to (Sec. 1-5):
Wildfire recovery efforts;
The removal of hazardous waste; and
Providing ongoing shelter for survivors.
Specifies that this bill declares an emergency and that the provisions shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 6).
