Vote to pass a bill that authorizes approximately 167.23 acres of specified lands in San Diego, California, to be placed into a trust for the benefit of the Jamul Indian Village of California, and be part of the tribe's reservation.
Authorizes approximately 167.23 acres of specified lands in San Diego, California, to be placed into a trust for the benefit of the Jamul Indian Village of California, and be part of the tribe's reservation (Sec. 2).
Amends and reaffirms the trust status of approximately 4.87 acres of specified land in San Diego, California that was taken into trust “for the benefit of the tribe” on July 19, 2024, and August 19, 2024 (Sec. 2).
Requires the Department of the Interior to accept title to, and place into trust “for the benefit of the tribe”, an additional 1.1 acres of land upon transfer to the United States by, or on behalf of, the tribe (Sec. 2).
Prohibits gaming (gambling) on the land taken into the trust (Sec. 2).
