Highlights:

• Prohibits foreign nationals from contributing or donating to political campaigns, candidates, and political action committees (PACs) in Georgia (Sec. 1-4).

• Requires agents of foreign principals to register with the State Ethics Commissioner and establishes registration regulations (Sec. 1-4).

• Requires agents of foreign principals to disclose to government agencies and the General Assembly when such agents are advocating on behalf of a foreign principal or government (Sec. 1-4).

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect upon passage and approval by the Governor and repeals any previous legislation found to conflict (Sec. 5).
