Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that prohibits school districts from using federal money to hire HVAC contractors who aren't certified by the state Department of Labor and Employment in Colorado.
Prohibits school districts from using federal funding to hire HVAC contractors who aren't certified by the state Department of Labor and Employment in Colorado to do repairs, adjustments, or replacements necessary to meet minimum ventilation and filtration requirements (Sec. 2-6).
Defines “HVAC” as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (Sec. 2).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 8).
