Title: Expands the Fish and Boat Commission's Authority to Set License, Permit and Issuing Agent Fees
Vote to pass a bill that expands the Fish and Boat Commission's power and authority to set fee in license, permit and issuing agent fees in Pennsylvania.
Establishes expiration on July 15, 2025 and specifies final-form regulations under subsection (a)(2)(vii)(B) to remain (Sec. 322).
Establishes licensing fees as the amount specified under 58. Pa. Code Sec. 63.75 for the following (Sec. 2715):
Resident's Annual Fishing License;
Senior Resident Annual Fishing License;
Senior Resident Lifetime Fishing License;
Nonresident Annual Fishing License;
7-day Tourist Fishing License;
2-Day Tourist Fishing License;
One-Day Resident Fishing License;
One-Day Tourist Fishing License; and
Replacement Fishing License, including permits and privileges;
Requires that licensing fees for transaction costs associated with the Pennsylvania Automated Licensing Service do not exceed $1 (Sec. 2715).
Establishes permit fees as the following (Sec. 2715):
Trout Permits: amount established under 58 Pa. Code Sec. 63.57;
Resident charter boat/fishing guide permit: $100;
Nonresident charter boat/fishing guide permit: $400;
Special permit to fish in Lake Erie and tributaries: amount established under 58 Pa. Code Sec. 63.57;
Combination trout permit and Lake Erie permit: amount established under 58 Pa. Code Sec. 63.57; and
Transaction cost associated with the Pennsylvania Automated Licensing Service to not exceed $1.
