Title: Amends Various Architect Licensure Laws and Regulations
Vote to pass a bill that amends various architect licensure laws and regulations in Pennsylvania.
Amends various architect licensure laws and regulations in Pennsylvania (Sec. ).
Authorizes for examination and licensure of architects by a State Architects Licensure Board and establishes penalties for violations (Sec. 2-17).
Authorizes the creation of a board of regulators and appointment and term of members and officers, for organization, and duties of the board, for examination and qualification of applicants (Sec. 2-17).
Amends reciprocal licensing processes related to issuance and renewal of certificates, for payment and disposition of fees (Sec. 2-17).
Authorizes architectural firm registration, architectural firm name changes, and providing existing licenses for permitted practices, for existing licenses (Sec. 2-17).
Establishes existing rules and regulations and for unauthorized practice and makes them prohibited (Sec. 2-17).
Establishes and authorizes certification of interior designers and further clarifies disciplinary proceedings (Sec. 2-17).
Authorizes penalties and complaint procedures in hearings among other regulations and repeals (Sec. 2-17 ).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect 60 days following passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 18).
