Vote to pass a bill that increases fines for street racing from $250 to $2,000 in Pennsylvania.
Increases driving penalty fines for street racing from $250 to $500 for a first offense and to $2,000 with potential imprisonment of up to 6 months and loss of vehicle for a second or subsequent offense in Pennsylvania (Sec. 2).
Specifies that organizers of street racing events are to be held liable and accountable for driving penalties along with individual drivers (Sec. 3).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect 11 months following passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 4).
