Vote to pass a bill that establishes an Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders (ADRD) Division and committee in Pennsylvania.

Highlights:

• Establishes an Alzheimer's, Dementia, and Related Disorders (ADRD) Division and advisory committee in Pennsylvania (Sec. 2).

• Requires the committee to meet on a quarterly basis and have all the following duties and powers, including (Sec. )5:

• Assess the current and future impact of Alzheimer's, dementia, and related disorders on residents;

• Examine the existing industries, services, and resources addressing the needs of individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, and related disorders, their families, and caregivers;

• Develop strategies to mobilize statewide response to Alzheimer's, dementia, and related disorders;

• Advise the department on necessary updates and implementation of the state plan;

• Consult with various state agencies and make recommendations on regulations, licensure, financing, or other responsibilities;

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Governor; and

• Develop and adopt rules for conducting advisory committee meetings.

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect 180 days after passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 6).
