Title: Requires State Contractors Inform the State of Any Purchases or Contracts with Foreign Adversaries
Vote to pass a bill that requires state contractors to inform the state of any purchases or contracts from a foreign adversary, and introduces fines for violating contractors in Arizona.
Specifies that companies covered by this act may not bid on, submit proposals for, or enter into contracts with a state agency or political subdivision for goods and services (Sec. 1).
Specifies that false or misleading certification letters shall be punishable by $250,000 (Sec. 1).
Requires that in any and each bid, there is a disclosure whether or not the bidder is a company owned and operated by a country that is a foreign adversary (Sec. 1).
Prohibits bids or offers from federally banned corporations or political parties (Sec. 1).
