Vote to pass a bill that prohibits the sale of tobacco to individuals younger than 21 year of age in West Virginia.

Highlights:

• prohibits sale or gift of tobacco products to persons younger than 21 years of age; setting forth fines and criminal penalties (Sec. 1). 

• Rescinding some penalties for possession of a tobacco product by a person younger than the age of 21 (Sec. 1). 

• Authorizes employees who sell a tobacco product to a person younger than 21 years of age noncriminal, non monetary penalties (Sec. 1).
