Title: Appropriates Funding from the American Rescue Plan Act for State Government Operation Costs
Vote to pass a bill that appropriates funding from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 for state government operation costs in Nebraska.
Appropriates Resources for each agency specified in this act (Sec. 1).
Specifies that All General Fund appropriations existing on June 30, 2023, in excess of expended and certified encumbrance amounts are hereby lapsed unless otherwise provided (Sec. 1).
Defines Salary Limit (Sec. 7).
Appropriates resources for the office of the public guardian (Sec. 8).
Appropriates resources for the attorney general's state settlements funds (SEc. 9).
Appropriates resources for the state department of education (Sec. 10).
Appropriates $306,960 for state aid for teachers seeking career and technical education (Sec. 11).
Appropriate resources for the education innovation program (Sec. 12).
Appropriate resources for the disability determination program (Sec. 13).
Appropriates resources for the programs for the services for the deaf and hard of hearing (Sec. 14).
Appropriates resources for the Center for the Education of Children who are blind or Visually Impaired (Sec. 15).
Appropriates resources from the American Rescue Plan for the purposes of providing scholarships to students who are intent on pursuing nursing (Sec. 22).
Appropriates $900,000 for evidence-based early intervention home visitation programs (Sec. 22).
Appropriates other resources from the state general fund for state programing purposes (Secc. 30).
