Vote to adopt a conference report vote and pass a bill that prohibits employers from forcing workers to attend captive audience meetings in Hawaii.
Prohibits employers from discharging, disciplining, or otherwise penalizing or threatening adverse employment action against an employee because they decline to attend or participate in an employer-sponsored meeting (Sec. 1).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 3).
