Title: Expands the State's New System of Crisis Relief Centers
Vote to pass a bill that expands the state's new system of Crisis Relief Centers in Washington.
Expands Crisis Relief Centers in Washington (CRCs), which currently serve adults only, to provide separate facilities for minors (Sec. 2-8).
Specifies CRCs are a new type of community-based facility licensed or certified by the Department of Health, open 24/7, offering immediate mental health and substance abuse care to adults for up to 24 hours, and referrals to further care (Sec. 2-8).
Requires that CRCs must accept walk-ins, first-responder drop-offs, and referrals from the 988 system (Sec. 2-8).
Specifies the provisions of this bill to take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 9).
