Vote to pass a bill that amends and simplifies various child care licensing regulations, including that workers could obtain a dual license between state and local ones and transfer their background checks between providers.

Highlights:

• Amends requirements for child care licensing, liability insurance for child care license applicants, background checks for child care employees, and use of blankets in child care facilities (Sec. 1). 

• Amends reporting requirements to the Legislature for the Department of Health and Human Services, the State Fire Marshal, and municipalities (Sec. 1).
