Title: Establishes a Higher Education Task Force to Improve Higher Education and Career Preparation Programs
Vote to pass a bill that establishes a new Higher Education Task Force to improve higher education and career preparation programs going forward, including increasing community college transfers, expanding dual enrollment, encouraging employer incentives, increasing student enrollment from other states, and boosting efficiencies in higher education in Pennsylvania.
Establishes and develops a new Higher Education Task Force to improve higher education and career preparation programs, including (Sec. 1):
Increasing community college transfers;
Expanding dual enrollment and employer incentives;
Increasing student enrollment from other states; and
Improving other various efficiencies in higher education.
Requires the task force to prepare a written report of its discussions and recommendations and submit it to the House and Senate Education Committees no later than April 30, 2026 (Sec. 1).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 2).
