Vote to pass a bill that amends the child care Act of 1969 to authorize 24-hour childcare service in Illinois.

Highlights:

• Authorizes a daycare center to operate for 24 hours or longer and provide care for a child up to 12 hours if the parent or guardian of the child is employed in a position with regular shifts and a 10-hour period elapses between daycare visits (Sec. 5.12).
