Vote to pass a bill that establishes guidelines for the attorney general when enforcing the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act for sales calls for various goods and services in Connecticut.

Highlights:

• Defines unfair real estate listing agreement as any agreement that does not require the real estate agent to engage with components of a listing within a year time period (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that unfair real estate practices can be labeled as deceptive trade (Sec. 2).

• Defines record as presenting an instrument to the town clerk to then place in the town land records (Sec. 1).

• Defines rerecord as presenting any information that has been recorded previously in the town land records (Sec. 1).
