Vote to pass a bill that authorizes pregnant or postpartum Medicaid recpients to access blood pressure monitors in Michigan.

Highlights:

• Requires an insurer that delivers or renews a health insurance policy in Michigan to cover a blood pressure monitor for a pregnant or postpartum insured subject to applicable cost sharing including deductibles, co-insurance, or co-pay provisions (Sec. 1). 

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 2).
