Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that requires the Commission of Agricultural Excellence to have certain, specified members.

Highlights:

• Requires the Commission for Agricultural Excellence to have the following members, including (Sec. 1):

• The Secretary of Education or a designee;

• The Secretary of Agriculture or a designee; and

• Farmers, teachers, educators, business leaders, and others specified in the Act that are jointly appointed by the two secretaries, in consultation with the State Senate and House.

• Requires the Commission for Agricultural Excellence to submit their report on the status of agricultural education by December 31 of each year (Sec. 1).
