Vote to pass a bill that amends various state gun reform measures

Highlights:

• Authorizes a licensed medical practitioner or an administrator of a school to petition to a court to have firearms temporarily taken away from an individual deemed a threat to themselves or others (Sec. 25).

• Prohibits an individual from owning, creating, or transferring an untraceable “ghost” firearm (Sec. 121C).

• Prohibits an individual from possessing a firearm in places owned, leased, or under control by the government and used for the purpose of government administration (Sec. 124).

• Prohibits an individual from possessing a firearm in a place being used as a polling place, voting site, or for the storage or tabulation of ballots (Sec. 124).
