Vote to pass a bill that establishes a 10 day waiting period for the purchase of any firearm in New York.

Highlights:

• Defines “Dealer in firearms” and “Firearm” (Sec. 1). 

• Specifies that no firearms dealer in the state of New York shall deliver a firearm unless ten days have passed from the date the dealer initiated the national  instant criminal background check of the purchaser and has passed said background checks (Sec. 1).
