Vote to concur with House amendments and pass a bill that prohibits K-12 schools and institutions of higher education from allowing transgender individuals from using bathrooms that align with their gender identity, along with changes to the college credit system in Ohio.

Highlights:

• Establishes that for the credit plus program any student who provides notification by April 1, may be approved to participate in the program for the next full school year (Sec. 1). 

• Specifies that no school or institution may modify the form for the credit plus program without authorization from the chancellor (Sec. 1). 

• Requires each participant in the program must complete an orientation that meets guidelines issued by the chancellor and the department. The chancellor and the department shall make those guidelines as concise as is practicable (Sec. 1).
