Vote to pass a bill that prohibits any boycott, divestment, or sanction (BDS) efforts against Israel in Pennsylvania.

Highlights:

• Prohibits and public funds in the state from engaging in boycotts, divestments, or sanctions (BDS) against Israel, including, but not limited to the following (Sec. 1-8):

• The State Employees Retirement Fund;

• The Public School Employees Retirement Fund;

• The Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement Fund; or 

• Any other fund overseen by the State Treasurer.

• Prohibits the state from appropriating state funding to colleges, universities, and other institutions of higher learning that boycott, divest, or sanction Israel (Sec. 1-8).

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor (Sec. 9).
