Vote to pass a bill that appropriates $56.6 billion in annual state spending for the New Jersey general budget.
Appropriates $56.6 billion in annual state spending for the New Jersey general budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, including, but not limited to (Sec. 2-108):
$20 million for operating aid to state community colleges;
$220 million for the state property tax credit program;
$45 million for the State University Hospital;
$30 million to expand the state’s mental health workforce;
$12.5 million for the Wood-Ridge School District; and
$9 million for improvements in the Essex County’s Weequahic Park.
Specifies that the spending provisions of this bill shall take effect July 1, 2024 (Sec. 109).
