Title: Establishes a New System for the Funding of Public Education
Vote to pass a bill that establishes a new system for the funding of public education in Pennsylvania, including funding and requirements for charter schools and cyber charter schools.
Requires any advertisement or sponsorship to declare the financial cost covered with taxpayer dollars (Sec. 134).
Prohibits public schools from using or paying for utilities with money from a sponsor (Sec. 134).
Requires that state public schools report all paid media advertisements to the Board of Education (Sec. 134).
Defines and amends the following terms, including, but not limited to (Sec. 134):
Administrator;
Appeal board;
Charter school entity;
Charter school foundation;
Chief administrator;
Compensation; and
Educational management service provider.
