Vote to pass a bill that establishes a new system for the funding of public education in Pennsylvania, including funding and requirements for charter schools and cyber charter schools.

Highlights:

• Requires any advertisement or sponsorship to declare the financial cost covered with taxpayer dollars (Sec. 134). 

• Prohibits public schools from using or paying for utilities with money from a sponsor (Sec. 134).

• Requires that state public schools report all paid media advertisements to the Board of Education (Sec. 134).

• Defines and amends the following terms, including, but not limited to (Sec. 134):

• Administrator;

• Appeal board;

• Charter school entity;

• Charter school foundation;
