Vote to pass a bill that prohibits the creation of artificially generated sexual depictions (deep-fakes), involving minors in Pennsylvania.

Highlights:

• Prohibits the creation of artificially generated sexual depictions involving minors and children (Sec. 1).

• Defines “artificially generated sexual depictions” or deep-fakes as a visual depiction of the current or former sexual or intimate partner in a state of nudity or engaged in sexual conduct or an artificially generated sexual depiction of an individual (Sec. 1).

• Defines “artificial intelligence” as a machine-based system that can, for a given set of human-defined objectives, make predictions, recommendations, or decisions influencing real or virtual environments (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall become effective 60 days following passage and approval by the governor (Sec. 4).
