Vote to concur with senate amendments and final pass a bill that prohibits distracted driving and establishes penalties in Pennsylvania.
Establishes Paul Miller’s Law (Sec. 1).
Prohibits the usage of interactive mobile devices on the road while driving (Sec. 1).
Exempts individuals who are trying to connect with law enforcement and first responders (Sec. 1).
Establishes a fine of $50 for the offense (Sec. 1).
Prohibits the seizure of mobile devices for this act (Sec. 1).
Requires the dissemination of education materials concerning the prohibition of mobile phones (Sec. 1).
Defines certain terms (Sec. 1).
