Vote to pass a bill that requires all legal guardians of a minor to be notified of an abortion.

Highlights:

• Requires a consenting guardian of a minor seeking an abortion to notify any other guardian in writing prior to consenting (Sec. A).

• Exempts the consenting guardian from notifying any other guardian if certain circumstances apply, including but not limited to, the following circumstances (Sec. A):
• The other guardian has been convicted of child abuse or neglect;
• The other guardian is the subject of a protective order; or
• The other guardian has been declared mentally incompetent.
