Title: Trespassing by Undocumented Immigrants
Vote to adopt a conference report that allows peace officers to question a lawfully detained person about their immigration status and requires arrested undocumented immigrants to be fingerprinted, when arrested for being on public or private land. This bill makes the first arrest a class one misdemeanor, and makes a second or subsequent arrest a class six felony; except when the arrested individual is found to have dangerous drugs, the components for manufacturing methamphetamine, deadly weapons, or property that is used for the purpose of committing an act of terrorism, these violations are a class two felony.
